Greetings Roger,
I have been shoeing horses for the public since 1982. Last month I purchased the 9 oz. Journeyman and wanted to let you know that it is without a doubt the most balanced, precise hammer that I have ever drove a nail with and is second to none wringing them off. I highly recommend this hammer to anyone at any skill level in our trade from beginners who cannot control their nail line to those of us that produce handmade shoes. Keep up the good work. Maybe consider making headstamps, pritchels, tooling blocks, etc. That would be awesome. Very Respectfully,

Roger, Thanks for developing a great hammer! I have been shoeing for over 30 years and this is the best hammer I have ever used. I would recommend this hammer to anyone.
Great Job,
Ray Trout
The Journeyman hammer is a true piece of craftsmanship, it is very well balanced and has just as much force cutting clinches as it does driving nails. I have found a hammer that I will use from now on, my search is overlooking and trying new hammers this hammer is the best I have found and will use no other.

Good talking with you the other day. Just wanted you to know I really like your hammer. I use a lot of Save Edge nails and your design really rings them off clean and they don't sick in the claws. Only problem with the hammer is it's way too pretty to use. I'll carry one in my truck to show everyone.
Thanks again and I wish you the very best.
Sincerely,
Danny

I've used Rogers hammers on everything from racehorses to hunter jumpers for years. They don't ring a nail of, they shear it every time. I wouldn't use anything else.

To Whom It May Concern:
I received the driving hammer you sent to replace my hammer that had mushroomed. Thank you so much for your great customer service. I won't ever buy another brand of driving hammer as I have been very pleased with your hammers. I will also recommend your hammers to other farriers.
Thanks again,
Kyle Ballard, CJF
Dear RG Tool,
I saw the first ad in the journal. I was interested because I've had problems with tennis elbow. It seems to drive the nail with little effort. I have used it for three years, I do not want to be without it. It's very user friendly. It snaps the nail shanks with ease If you have elbow trouble, try this hammer. No pressure from my elbow. I have shoed full-time for 22 years and haven't seen a better hammer. Best hammer in the world."

Dear Roger,
I just wanted you to know I have sold and used every hammer on the market, and your 6 and 9oz. hammers are second to none. When I first saw your hammer I said to myself "If this hammer drives like it looks, it would be great" It surpassed my expectations and drives well and rings out smoothly.
Thank you for a great product,
Respectfully,

Roger Grant,
In 29 years of horseshoeing, this is the most balanced, well-made hammer I've ever used. The ringer never loads up! It saves time, nails and money.

Roger,
I've used a lot of driving hammers over the years searching for the ultimate hammer. I found the RG Tool Journeyman! This driving hammer is well thought out with great balance and ergonomics. The hammer fits the hand nicely and clean cuts (not twists) the nail. Adding to this, the Journeyman hammer is top quality and attractive.

Hi Roger
I bought a hammer of you around twelve months ago, its' taken me a little time for me to get used to it and i used on and off over the last year. I am now using the hammer full time and would not use anything else the balance and clean ring off is superb.
Thank you,
Sandy Parker

I have used the RG Tool Company Journeyman Hammer for over 20 years. It’s balance and feel imprecision is great and I doubt that I could shoe a horse without it. When other farriers asked me about it, I just tell them to try it on one foot and you will have to have it. I also use the RG Tool Stahljack base and the aluminum rasp handle. The handles are quick and easy to change and easy on the hands. The base is great on all surfaces, including in stalls and on bedding. I would recommend that if you haven’t tried them yet, to do so soon!

Aloha Roger
Hope all is well. I just want to thank you for the outstanding customer service.
I purchased my first 9oz hammer made by you around 2002 in Tulsa Oklahoma at a Vet Supply Store. Don't remember the exact name, but I am sure glad to have spent that money. 22 Years later I send it back to you to refurbish. When you called me to tell me you'd be replacing the hammer and my cost would only be the shipping, I was shocked! I appreciate your customer service so much. The quality of your hammers speak for themselves. I have traveled many miles and across a few States and the Hawaiian Islands with that hammer.
Just to add I also purchase a 6 oz some years back and recently bought a second 9oz from the Horseshoe Barn in Sacarmento, CA.
I love your product but even more than that your quality of craftmanship of the best farrier hammers!
Thanks again
